Health Care Systems
- Akimeka has extensive experience in delivering information management
solutions across the Military Health System (MHS) enterprise and operational
continuum - from forward deployed forces to major medical centers. Akimeka
has been a key partner in the development, fielding, training and
operational employment of medical information systems for medical
surveillance, medical situational awareness and medical asset visibility.
- Akimeka domain experts have deployed with military medical units and
provided training and support for medical information systems during
exercises in Thailand and Korea and in support of Operations Enduring and
Iraqi Freedom. Akimeka employees combine operational experience with
technical know how to deliver quality solutions and enhance health care
access and delivery.
- Akimeka was a pioneer in the operational employment of telemedicine
applications and reach back consultative services for geographically remote
and underserved populations in the Pacific. Akimeka continues to leverage
its experience in networks, databases and web-based applications
design/development to provide telemedicine solutions for its customers.
IA and Logistics Systems
- Akimeka provides system security engineering services to defense agencies that secure both applications and networks. We specialize in web application development; cross-domain services; system security requirements specification and information system security engineering.
- Akimeka has been selected to lead an effort to build a comprehensive supply chain management and forecasting tool for the Department of Defense. Akimeka will leverage its database and data warehouse experience and utilize industry-leading applications to provide tools for logistics planners and operators that will allow them to make informed supply decisions at the operational and strategic levels.
