Akimeka is an IM/IT services and solutions provider focused on the Federal IT market. Established
in January 1997 by Vaughn Vasconcellos, President and CEO, Akimeka has built a reputation on providing
innovative network, software, and web-driven solutions to its Department of Defense customers. Our
growing list of customers include the Joint Staff, Office of Naval Research, Defense Information
Systems Agency (DISA), DOD/Health Affairs, and Army G1 Office.
Akimeka uses its certifications as a Small Disadvantaged Business and a Disabled Veteran Owned Business
to compete effectively in the Federal IT market. Our long term goal is to facilitate the transfer of technologies
acquired from our Federal IT and commercial projects to Hawaii's communities and other regions within the Pacific.
