Hawaii Source Education Outreach

The “Digital Bus” is a mobile science and technology lab supporting K12 schools and community organizations throughout Maui Nui. As a part of the Hawaii Source Education Outreach program, this mobile learning platform offers field-based, engaging science projects at outdoor locations and at school sites. All curriculum utilized in Hawaii Department of Education Schools is based on the Hawaii State Content and Performance Standards for Science and Education Technology. In school year 2005-2006 the Hawaii Source Education Outreach program is expanding its reach by providing staffing and curriculum support to the “Techno Studio Bus” on the Big Island of Hawaii.
